The DIR-880L is a concurrent dual band wireless router upgraded to latest 802.11ac(draft) standard technology while staying compatible with IEEE 802.11b/g/n and IEEE 802.11a networks. The 5GHz standard adopts higher modulation as well as 2.4GHz does that all can reach best performance than competitor (3Tx+3Rx PHY rate up to 1900Mbps: 2.4G 600Mbps + 5G 1300Mbps). It upgrades your network to the next generation of wireless technology and makes your wireless connectivity faster and wider to meet the blooming demand to multimedia application.
